Federally Mandated LCRR Inventory

Please click on the link below for a copy of Gilbert-Summit Rural Water District's Lead and Copper Rule Revisions of the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: We have recently sent letters required by DES and the EPA regarding Unknown Service Lines.

The purpose of these letters is to inform you that we do not know what materials your service line is made out of, but there is nothing wrong with the quality of your water. This is an inventory being done nation-wide to make consumers aware of lead lines that will eventually need to be replaced. An "Unknown" line is simply that: unknown.

PLEASE NOTE: Any service line installed after November of 1988 will be considered lead free.
